It is recommended to brush their coat at least once a week to prevent tangles and mats from forming, and some fanciers brush as often as once a day. They may also need to be groomed more frequently during shedding season.

The Abyssinian is a breed of domestic cat that is believed to have originated in the horn of Africa, specifically present-day Ethiopia. They are known for their short, fine coats, which come in various colors, including red, blue, fawn, and chocolate, green eyes, and love climbing high...very high. A cat tree is an absolute must for this breed, and you may want to invest in multiple. Abyssinian cats are medium to large in size and have a slender, athletic build. They are known for their intelligence and playful personalities, and are generally very active and require a lot of mental exercise along with physical.
